Our Mission
Harvey World Heroes is a community-building organization dedicated to making a positive impact in Harvey, IL. Through our monthly “Harvey’s Hot Spot” events, we provide essential resources to community members in need.
Our organization was founded on the principle that sharing is caring. We believe that by standing together, we can create the change we want to see in our community.
Every 3rd Friday of each month, from 1pm–4pm at 14821 Broadway Ave, Harvey, IL, we host the Hot Spot event where we distribute clothing, food, shoes, baby accessories, and other necessities to those who need them most.
What We Provide
Clothing
Gently used clothing for all ages and sizes, giving families the dignity of quality wardrobe options.
Food
Non-perishable food items with valid expiration dates. No family should go hungry in our community.
Baby Accessories
Diapers, baby clothes, bottles, and other essentials for new parents in need.
Shoes
Clean, wearable shoes for children and adults — a necessity many overlook.
Personal Hygiene
Hygiene products and household items that every family deserves access to.
Community Support
A safe, welcoming space to connect, share, and build Harvey's future together.
Our Team
Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to organize each Hot Spot event, collect donations, and ensure that resources reach those who need them most.
We collaborate with local businesses, organizations, and individual donors to maximize our impact in the Harvey community.
Donations are collected 10–13 days before each event, Monday through Sunday, from 5pm–8pm. Call us at 708-653-7166 to arrange a drop-off.
